By accessing the CFO Angle website or engaging us for any service, you agree to these Terms. Where a signed engagement letter or proposal exists, that document governs the specific scope, deliverables, and fees of your engagement — these Terms apply alongside it.
About these terms
These Terms are issued by CFO Angle, a virtual CFO and financial advisory firm headquartered at 4th Floor, No 280, 5th Main Rd, 6th Sector, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102, with services delivered by qualified Chartered Accountants. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to CFO Angle, and "you" and "your" refer to the client or website visitor.
Nature of our services
We provide advisory and support services including Virtual CFO, Interim CFO, ERP implementation and business transformation, investor and IPO readiness, business valuation, business consulting, accounting and book closures, due diligence, and ancillary advisory services.
Our work supports your decision-making. All final business and financial decisions remain yours. Our services do not replace your statutory auditor and do not constitute an audit, assurance, or investment opinion unless expressly agreed in writing.
Engagement and scope
The specific deliverables, timelines, and fees for your engagement are set out in your proposal or engagement letter. Any work requested beyond that agreed scope is treated as a separate engagement and may be quoted and billed additionally.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information, books of account, and system access.
- You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you supply to us.
- You remain responsible for your statutory filings and compliance, unless we are expressly engaged in writing to manage them on your behalf.
- Designate an authorised point of contact for approvals and instructions.
Fees, invoicing and taxes
Fees are charged as a monthly retainer for ongoing services or as a fixed project fee for standalone work, as stated in your engagement. All fees are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes, which are charged additionally. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may suspend services on overdue amounts after giving you reasonable written notice.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the purpose of the engagement. This obligation survives termination. We are happy to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement on request.
Data protection
We handle your financial and personal data with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and in line with applicable Indian data protection law. We process your data only to deliver the engagement and do not sell it to third parties.
Intellectual property
Models, templates, frameworks, dashboards, and methodologies developed by CFO Angle remain our intellectual property. On full payment of the relevant fees, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for your internal business purposes. Website content is owned by CFO Angle and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
Third-party platforms
Engagements may involve third-party tools such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP Business One, NetSuite, and Power BI. We are not responsible for the availability, errors, downtime, or pricing of any third-party platform.
No guarantee of outcomes
Financial, fundraising, valuation, and business outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific result, amount of funding, valuation figure, or financial return.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the professional fees paid by you for that engagement in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CFO Angle against any claim arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provided, or from your use of our deliverables contrary to our written advice.
Term and termination
Retainer engagements continue until terminated by either party with the notice period stated in the engagement letter (typically 30 days). Either party may terminate for a material breach that is not remedied within 15 days of written notice. Fees for services rendered up to the date of termination remain payable.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of government, internet or utility failure, or natural events.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your engagement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its "last updated" date. Your continued use of the website or continuation of an engagement constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because our work is professional, time-based, and bespoke, this policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled across retainer, project, and diagnostic engagements. It applies alongside your engagement letter; where the engagement letter specifies different refund terms, the engagement letter prevails.
Applicability
This policy applies to all services purchased from CFO Angle. It should be read together with these Terms & Conditions and your signed engagement letter.
Nature of professional services
Our deliverables involve senior professional time that is committed and scheduled in advance. Once work has commenced, the time and effort already expended is not recoverable. This is reflected in the refund terms below.
Cancelling a retainer engagement
You may cancel an ongoing monthly retainer by giving the notice stated in your engagement letter (typically 30 days). You are billed for the notice period and for all services rendered. Retainer fees for the current month are not refundable on a pro-rata basis once that month's work has begun.
Cancelling a project or fixed-fee engagement
Before work commences, you may cancel for a refund, less any non-refundable third-party or government costs already incurred. After work commences, fees are refundable only for the portion of work not yet performed, assessed against the agreed project milestones.
Diagnostic and assessment fees
Paid diagnostic fees — such as the Financial Foundations Audit or Strategic Financial Diagnostic — are credited against your CFO retainer if you onboard within 30 days. Diagnostic fees are otherwise non-refundable once the assessment work has been delivered.
Non-refundable items
- Work that has been completed and delivered.
- Third-party software, subscription, and platform charges.
- Government, statutory, and regulatory fees.
- Out-of-pocket costs already incurred on your behalf.
Cancellation by CFO Angle
If we are unable to continue an engagement — for example due to a conflict of interest or a lack of cooperation that prevents us from delivering — we will refund fees paid for any work not yet performed.
No refund for outcomes
Fees are charged for professional services rendered, not for any particular outcome. We do not provide refunds on the basis of business, fundraising, or valuation results.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your engagement details and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 3 working days.
Refund method and timeline
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, or by bank transfer where that is not possible, within 10–15 working days of approval. GST adjustments are made as required under applicable law.
Disputes
We aim to resolve any concern amicably and in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved is subject to the governing law and jurisdiction set out in these Terms — the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
